Privacy notice

The short version: we see what you type into a form, and nothing else. This website sets no cookies, loads no analytics and shows no adverts. Below is who holds your details, what they are used for and which outside services touch them.

Who is responsible for your details

Car Hire Paphos LTD, company number HE 2334542, Apostolou Pavlou Ave 33, Paphos 8046, Cyprus, decides what happens to the details sent through this site. Write to info@carhirepaphos.cy about anything on this page.

The details a form asks for

The booking panel and the contact page ask for your name, an email address, a phone number if you want a call back, the dates, the vehicle, the pick-up and return places and anything you write in the message box.

The reservation page asks for more, because it prepares a rental agreement: your home address, postcode and country, the driver's name and date of birth, a driving licence number and a passport or ID number, the same details for a second driver if you add one, and a street address when we are delivering or collecting. It also takes a flight number or an airport transfer time if you give one, and a company name, registration and tax number if you ask for a company invoice.

The newsletter box on some pages sends nothing. The address you type there stays in your browser and reaches no one.

What we use them for

To answer you, to price the dates you asked about, to check that the drivers meet the age and licence rules, and to prepare the vehicle and the paperwork for the handover. A request is not a booking and holds no vehicle; a person here confirms it by phone or message first.

Once you collect a vehicle, the signed rental agreement governs what else is recorded, including the vehicle's GPS data and the camera at our desk. Clauses 12 and 13 of that agreement describe both.

Two services that carry your details

Resend delivers the form to us. We use it to send only: each request goes out from info@carhirepaphos.cy to our own inbox, and your email address is set as the reply address so our answer reaches you.

Vercel hosts the website. Your browser connects to Vercel's servers for every page, so they receive the technical details any web request carries, such as your network address.

To stop the forms being used for spam, the server counts how many requests arrive from one connection. It keeps a scrambled form of the network address in its working memory for no more than a day, and in no database.

One page with a map from Google

The Paphos car hire page shows our office on a map that Google Maps serves inside a frame. When that frame loads, your browser contacts Google, which receives your network address and may set cookies of its own under Google's privacy policy. No other page on the site loads anything from another company.

No cookies, no analytics, no adverts

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It runs no analytics or session recording, and no advertising or remarketing code.

Until 30 September 2026 the site offered Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to visitors who accepted them. Both were removed that day. If you accepted them before then, their cookies (named _clck, _clsk and starting with _ga) may still be in your browser; the site no longer reads them, and you can delete them in your browser's settings.

Asking about your details

To ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted, write to info@carhirepaphos.cy from the address you used, so we can tell your request from someone else's. In Cyprus, the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection handles complaints about how a company treats personal data.

This notice was last checked against the website's code on 30 September 2026. It changes whenever the site starts or stops using a service.
